What a fun four days we had at this years London Bike Show. We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who called to our stand to say hello. Meeting you guys definitely has to be the favourite part of our job. As well as getting to attend an amazing bike show in London, look at beautiful kit and bikes, and get to call it work!
We've made up a list of our favourite picks and stands from the show this year:
Because every cyclist can never have enough socks. Better still, novelty socks! Primal was probably one of the most visited stand's by the See.Sense staff at the show. Between us, we brought home a number (probably too many) pairs of Primal's ice cream, bacon, shark and stars novelty cycling socks.
The Pinarello stand is always one of our first visits at all the bike shows, simply to see the flashiest hand made bike with the biggest price tag. The one that stood out had to be Bradley Wiggins custom Dogma F8.
Our friends from TrueStart launched their brand new coffee flavoured nutrition bars at the show. If you (like most cyclists) like a coffee, then its an absolute cert that you'll love all the products from Helena and the team at TrueStart Coffee. Make sure you enter our joint competition where you can win some of their products and kit worth over £1,000 here.
With their very 'out their' branding, it was hard not to take a look at the kit from these guys. If you, like us are able to take the 'mick' out of yourself, then there are some nicely designed pieces of lycra to check out, for both the male and female cyclist at the back!
One for the girls to look at - this Canyon-SRAM was hard to walk past. She was also at the show doing signings. We think the Canyon had one of the nicest colour schemes about.
A super cute Early Rider - kitted out with Hope, the lot! It would work out a pretty expensive bike for your 3 year old, but still a great feature for their stand.
You simply can't visit a cycle show and not look for the bike with the highest price tag. This fancy Cervelo would set you back £13.5k. Apparently you could have asked for a special show price, we decided not to..
A bit of running/inside joke between the See.Sense team, to see who can put out the most watts in 60 seconds! This time Jonny was the only member of our team that took on the challenge (the rest of us were too busy working on the stand!).
Our friends Melissa and Chris from Henty launched their new amazing waterproof commuter bags at the show this year.
What also really impressed us was their new stand backgrounds. #WhateverYourBackground - Where customers posed at their favourite scene. Ours was definitely the coffee shop location!
Weird but wonderful, we had to include this full suspension tandem from Rose Bikes as one of our top ten picks. It got plenty of attention at the show.
Thanks again to everyone who called to the See.Sense stand at the show, we hope to see you all (and more) again next year!
