Are you stuck for Christmas gift ideas for the cyclist who already has everything? From novelty cycling socks to bright jerseys and the latest gadgets for our handlebars - we cyclists can be a hard enough bunch to buy for! Now is definitely the time to start thinking about getting that Christmas shopping list sorted. Or even if you are wanting to drop a few hints or send a few links to someone else (cough) to give them some ideas. That's why we've created this guide.
For this years gift guide, our team here at See.Sense has basically made a list of our favourite cycling products at the moment that we have our eye on and that would be great gift ideas. The price ranges from stocking fillers and little surprises right up to high-end kit that all cyclists would love to open up on Christmas day.
We are also excited to have recently extended our range of products this year including some great cycling accessories. Our brand new Phone Pouches and Bar Bags are absolutely ideal for gifting to the cyclist in your life this year. More about them later. Let's get into the guide:
Let's start with a stocking filler, and a cool one at that. Colour in your own Ass Saver mudguards. One for the kid in all of us. This would be a great secret santa gift for any bike lover at the ten poundsmark.
See.Sense certified. We first saw PURSU at the Cycle Show in Birmingham and loved trying out their homemade nutrition bars. These would make a pretty quirky Christmas gift for someone to let them try out a new brand other than the bigger names. Not only do they taste great, they are made with natural ingredients, but our favourite thing about them has to be that the packaging is fully compostable at home. 10/10. It's a yes from us.
Amazing for any cyclist whose pockets aren't big enough - pretty much all of us then. We know what you're thinking... "time for a See.Sense shout out!" But these had to go next. We're pretty excited about having our own high-quality accessories available for Christmas 2019. And this is absolutely perfect for carrying snacks like the PURSU bars.
One for the girls! It's pretty rare to see a Rapha Jersey at such a decent price, so that's why this one is included. As well as the fact that there is no better motivation for riding than getting some new kit for Christmas.
The older sibling to ICON2, and the most backed light (ever) on Kickstarter, ACE, is next up. It would make an amazing gift for someone who cycles to work, or someone who is thinking about starting to.
Calling all novelty lovers, or just for someone who likes to stand out from the crowd. You don't get much for £6 in cycling these days so this is a great stocking filler.
We said we'd cover all budgets... This limited edition jacket was too unique not to put in our gift guide. And it's pretty close to our favourite shade of blue. A real treat for the cyclist in your life to keep them warm on winter rides.
Become a British Cycling commute member: designed for riders who commute regularly, benefiting from liability insurance, legal support, exclusive retail offers, money can’t buy expert tips and much more! All for only £37 per year! It also helps British Cycling’s hand when pushing for change.
Or if (like us) you are based in Ireland the equivalent would be to get someone a membership for Christmas.
It just wouldn't be right if we didn't include cycling socks in the guide this year. This brand is pretty cool too. As the name suggests, their whole style is based on minimalism, and we think they look great.
We have had some great reviews for our water-resistant phone pouch. With room a phone, keys, cards, some cash it has become many cyclists ride essential.
Our newest (and brightest) lights lights we've made are the last but not the least gift in out guide. Based on our award-winning ICON and packed with more brightness and intelligence than ever before. Give someone the gift of light this year, we are sure they will be delighted!
