We were proud to have been part of the excellent (and busy!) Walking and Cycling Innovations Conference held in Manchester this year. The event (organised by Landor Links) was supported by Active Travel England (ATE), which has the key objective of ensuring that 50% of trips taken in urban areas are walked, wheeled or cycled by the year 2030. The conference showcased a wide array of innovative products and services that can help local authorities to achieve this goal, and deliver quality active travel schemes in their areas.

One of the main highlights was the ‘Keeping Active Travellers Safe’ session. During the session, our CEO Philip McAleese and Alexander Drake, Data Scientist at Transport for London, co-presented a session outlining how See.Sense data has been used to inform TfL’s risk model for Vision Zero.

We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who visited us at our stand, and all those who entered our BEAM+ giveaway competition (best of luck!). It was great to meet and talk with you all.
