See.Sense were recently featured on Ireland's national broadcaster RTE’s 6 o’ clock news. The feature discussed our ongoing city trial in conjunction with Smart Dublin & Dublin City Council, where 500 ICON lights were distributed to cyclists around the capital to collect information as they cycle.
In the feature, Jamie Cudden, Dublin Smart City Program Manager states that See.Sense technology helps the city“understand where there are problematic areas” for cycling and“by monitoring the road surface quality, we can work with our roads team to look at where we can improve the quality of the surface.”
Data from the trial will be shared with the Smart Dublin initiative. This data will help the city identify and prioritise investments in cycling infrastructure and policies.
