Last month in Brussels, Cycling Industries Europe held their inaugural meeting and we’re pleased to announce that See.Sense has been elected to its Board of Directors, with Irene McAleese, Co-founder and CSO of See.Sense as our representative.
Tony Grimaldi, CEO of Cycleurope and President of Cycling Industries Europe welcomed Irene to the board: “One of the ambitions of Cycling Industries Europe is to represent the diversity of businesses in the cycling sector. I am delighted that See.Sense has been elected to our board with Irene McAleese as its representative, because she brings extensive experience in linking bicycle accessories to the digital and start-up sectors which are so important for the future of our industries. Her entrepreneurial background will really strengthen our team.”
Cycling Industries Europe is the main advocacy voice for cycling related businesses in Europe and works to bring the whole industry together. They are currently embracing the market’s move to digitalised and innovative solutions to create sustainable mobility options, which is where McAleese hopes to lend her expertise.
“At See.Sense we believe that industry should come together to help grow the market for cycling. I'm really looking forward to helping the voice of industry influence support for cycling in Europe”, says Irene McAleese.
See.Sense joins industry giants such as Accell Group, SRAM, NextBike, WTB, Pon.Bike, Trek and Cycleurope on this Board. See.Sense is the first and only SME on the Board of Directors.
