See.Sense is on a mission to make cycling better.
That’s why we’ve developed technology that sits in a See.Sense light to detect road issues or unsafe routes you face on your ride when your light is on. We call this information ‘ride insights’.
To make cycling better for everyone we need to build infrastructure that is accurate, safe and successful. This requires information on how people are cycling on roads, but at the moment the majority of cyclists are invisible to City and Transport Planners.
The ride insights our lights detect, provide cities and Planners with information on popular cycling routes, poor road surface areas, and hazardous cycling conditions. Information that can then be used to upgrade roads, create better infrastructure and boost cycling safety.
When you connect your light to our mobile app, join the See.Sense community and opt in, you’ll be sharing your ride insights whenever you ride with your light on. We then work with partners to make sure these insights are used effectively, and that cyclists are given a voice. For example, in the UK we’ve partnered with British Cycling.
