ACE (125 Lumens) makes you more visible at riskier moments, keeps you connected through a smartphone app, and gives you the chance to improve the roads you cycle on.
Please note: to qualify for the project and this purchase, the postcode for your order needs to be within a 25-mile radius of London. You will also need to have access to an iPhone with iOS 11 or higher to run the See.Sense app. There are a limited number of London Project Lights available, so don't miss out!
While you’re cycling with ACE on, technology in the light detects any road issues or unsafe routes you face. We call these ‘ride insights’ and these insights can help cities and Planners upgrade roads, create better infrastructure and boost cycling safety.
We are launching this London project to gather as many ‘ride insights’ as we can in the inner London area. This is so we can help the city to: promote active travel, improve cycling infrastructure and better advocate for funding based on concrete data.
You’ll be getting a See.Sense ACE rear light at the heavily subsidised price of £26.99 (RRP £44.99).
You’ll be helping make cycling safer, more convenient and more enjoyable in London.
You’ll be the first to hear about the results and our progress in implementing your findings.
We will be sharing your ride insights with the Active City Network, who are working to shape infrastructure changes in the Square Mile, London.
It's super easy to get involved. All you need to do is purchase your ACE light using the button above. For participating you receive your light at the heavily subsidised price of £26.99 (RRP £44.99). And once you have your light, all you need to do is connect it to our iOS app, opt-in to share your cycling insights and start riding as normal (but much brighter!)
Please note these lights are specifically designed for the project. They will only function when connected with an iOS phone running iOS 11 or higher. The lights will be delivered free of charge to you. The project will run from February 2019 for 3 months and you will be able to keep your light after the project.
By purchasing this product and participating, you will agree to our terms and conditions. As this light is a specific project version of ACE, it requires you to opt-in to the project via the smartphone app to receive full functionality in return for a subsidised price. When you face moments of increased risk on your commute (e.g. at junctions, filtering traffic or high-stress intersections), ACE reacts by automatically flashing brighter and faster to make you more visible to other road users. It also shines powerfully both in daylight and at night-time, helps you be seen from over a mile away, and gives you 200° of side visibility.
See.Sense’s award-winning bike lights don’t just make you safer on the road though. They work with our companion app to give you a voice. Through the app, you can:
Help create better cycling infrastructure for everyone by sharing your rides with Transport Planners, or providing them with direct feedback.
Receive theft alerts if your bike is moved without you, automatically send crash alerts to a nominated contact, and get low battery notifications.
Control and customise your lights by changing their flash mode, brightness level or flash patterns.
See your cycling stats or pair ACE with a compatible Garmin device thanks to ACE’s ANT+ technology.
ACE is 59.5mm x 32.5mm x 22.50mm.
To connect it to the See.Sense app your phone needs to run Android 4.3 / iOS 11.0 or later.
