Customer Service Advisor

Role description:

Customers are at the heart of what we do. The Customer Service Advisor role is primarily focused on supporting current customer service demand.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing help and advice to customers using See.Sense products and applications, accurately categorising queries into Level 1 / 2 / 3 depending on nature of query.
  • Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, live chat, letter and face to face.
  • Investigating and solving customers' problems, which may be complex or long-standing.
  • Liaise with internal team members for support to answer Level 2 or 3 queries as required.
  • Issuing refunds or compensation to customers.
  • Manage (own) all incoming and outgoing customer returns, warranties and replacements
  • Test all returns and determine appropriate action.
  • Manage (own) in-house spare / refurbished parts inventory
  • Communicate the status of customer returns (received, tested, replaced, cancelled).
  • Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers.
  • Learning about our products and services and keeping up to date with change.
  • Analysing statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service we are providing.
  • Writing reports analysing the customer service that See.Sense provides; highlighting areas for tech or marketing teams to be aware of.
  • Following feedback or complaints procedures for customers to use
  • Improving customer service procedures, policies and standards, and meeting with other team members to discuss possible improvements to customer service

Essential skills/experience

  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills, communication skills and a positive, forward thinking attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and practiced listening skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise.
  • IT and computer literacy skills.

Desirable skills/experience

  • A keen interest in cycling, fitness and outdoors.
  • Clean driving licence and access to a car.
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm or more.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule (weekends/nights a few times a month).

Mobile App Developer

Role description:

We’re looking for an experienced app developer to architect and build the next generation of mobile applications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced apps for the iOS and/or Android platform
  • Collaborate with teams to define, design and implement new features such as bike navigation, fitness and ride assistance.
  • Design smooth, high performance user interfaces.
  • Create automated test code to ensure robustness, improve usability and performance.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.

Essential skills/experience

  • 2:1 in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 3+ years relevant experience in mobile app development

Desirable skills/experience

  • IONIC framework
  • Interest in cycling

UX, UI, Visualisation Specialist

Role description:

Design is at the heart of what we do. We’re looking for a talented UX, UI, Visualisation Specialist to help cyclists have a great experience using our technology.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve our user interface and experience on three key fronts, namely : website (ecommerce), mobile (application) and data visualisation of complex data sets.
  • Exploring and introducing new modern technologies, participating in the formation of the long term front-end technical strategy and architecture.
  • Very good understanding and proficiency with the front-end technologies: HTML/CSS, JavaScript/JQuery and various JavaScript frameworks, React, NodeJS, (just to name few, we expect you to keep being up-to-date with the rapidly changing front-end technology world).

Essential skills/experience

  • Computer science or related degree
  • 2+ years relevant experience

Desirable skills/experience

  • Familiarity with server side technologies, and knowledge of tools such as PHP, Python, R and SQL.
  • Interest in Cycling

Wireless Engineer (FUSION PROJECT) – 18 Months

Role description:

The main objective of the project is to design and develop an embedded wireless solution for the See.Sense patent pending sensor platform. This will enable it to be used on city bikes, providing a mobile sensor platform for cities.
