The Company 

At See.Sense we’re on a mission to make micro mobility better.  We bring together patented sensor and AI-fusion technology, data and insights to make micro mobility individually safer and collectively smarter. We work with city planners, large employers and micro mobility fleet owners to unlock the full potential of active mobility. Our award-winning consumer products include connected bike lights and GPS trackers that are used by hundreds of thousands of cyclists worldwide. Due to a period of high growth, we are scaling our B2B data insight projects with cities, bike and e-scooter fleet operators and other B2B partners, globally.  

The Role 

The purpose of this role is to support the successful delivery of See.Sense data projects.  This role sits in our Data Insights team and reports to the Head of Projects. The role offers good opportunities for development, in a growth area of the business. It will suit an ambitious and hard-working individual who can rapidly learn and develop new skills in project management and data analysis.    

The key responsibilities are to:

  • Assist with analysis of large datasets to produce compelling data visualisations, using GIS tools
  • Monitoring of data platforms to verify connection between hardware and software and to provide quality assurance
  • Project administration duties, including minute taking, keeping project records up to date, arranging meetings etc
  • Support with project planning and delivery
  • Support the team with preparation of  presentations, bids and proposals 
  • Assist the marketing team in generating content such as white papers, presentations and other collateral for use in B2B marketing 
  • Assist with client support and queries

Essential Skills and experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant degree
  • Project management experience 
  • Ability to interpret data and produce compelling narratives 
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or G Suite
  • Confident working autonomously also in small teams in close collaboration
  • Sound communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Dependable, well organised, self-starter
  • Attention to detail
  • Have the ability to learn quickly and acquire knowledge rapidly

Desirable:

  • Data processing via scripting using languages such as Python, R or Javascript
  • Experience working with spatial data using data visualisation platforms 
  • Knowledge of relational databases, especially normalisation, data types and querying data using SQL
  • Knowledge of a cloud platform such as AWS
  • Experience of working in active travel programme delivery roles
  • Interest in cycling

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate/junior Designer to work with one of Northern Ireland’s most successful tech companies, and to take responsibility for the creative output of their innovative products and services. 

Key responsibilities:

- Own the creation and development of designs for use both online and in print, to be used as part of the company branding, advertising and development. 

- Work includes: online graphics, print advertising, presentation decks, promotional items/leaflets, packaging, POS, trade show stands, website design, video editing.

- Content Creation and art direction for photography and film. Video editing using Premiere Pro/After Effects/iMovie.

- Work on social media content and visuals, uploading creative content onto the company's website and online drives.

- Animation: Developing storyboards for animation/video content  and leading creation for web ready viewing.

- Work collaboratively with other team members, designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and visual identity.

- Work with and understand the requirements of the in-house tech and marketing team to implement designs conscious of their restraints.

- Create varied concepts for a variety of projects in a short period of time, both physical product and digital. 

- Assist with design projects beyond your specialist area as required - including product, graphical, UI, UX, testing and marketing. 

- Assist with See.Sense customer service and fulfillment of orders as required. 

Essential skills/experience:

- Degree (or similar) in Graphic Design, or equivalent experience in the creative or graphic design field. 

- A strong eye for design, layout, typography and detail

- Contemporary design approach

- Sound experience of adobe creative suite: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

- Strong sketching and visualization ability 

- Demonstrate exceptional levels of creativity, motivation and innovation

  • extract, transform and visualise large datasets, to produce compelling data visualisations, using GIS tools
  • provide project support on B2B data projects, under direction of project manager.  This includes attending meetings, taking notes, and updating project management records 
  • support the preparation of bids and proposals 
  • provide general business administration support as required 

Essential Skills and experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Science, Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant degree
  • Ability to interpret data and produce compelling narratives 
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or G Suite

About the Role

This role will work across both B2C and B2B elements marketing and will support the achievement of See.Sense revenue targets. Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the content marketing activity for digital media, including writing blogs and management of our social media accounts for our campaigns 
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns using platform such as mailchimp. 
  • Support our B2B marketing activities as required such as posting content for Linkedin, preparation of monthly emails or carrying out prospecting campaigns on Linkedin. 
  • Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns.
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of the company website using Shopify with HTML. 

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Communications, Marketing or Business or other related degree or marketing qualification or working towards
  • Great communication skills (verbal and written) with a strong attention to detail and a flair for creating engaging marketing copy 
  • Outstanding organisation, interpersonal and planning skills 
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft or Google Docs and Drive. Sound Excel / Google Sheets skills. 
  • Passion and drive - taking the personal initiative to keep up to date with current trends in marketing to ensure campaigns are relevant, fresh and effective.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
