Business Development Manager

Role Purpose

This is a pivotal role for See.Sense – you will lead the charge in growing our client base and supporting relationships with strategic partners across both public and private sectors. You’ll identify opportunities, build a strong sales pipeline, close deals, and assist in creating long-term value through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Growth Strategy

    • Drive B2B and B2G sales to meet ambitious growth targets

    • Contribute to the strategic commercial roadmap and identify new market opportunities

  • Lead Generation and Pipeline Development

    • Build and manage a robust pipeline across key markets (local government, micromobility providers, employers, etc.)

    • Qualify leads, deliver tailored pitches, and follow up to close deals

  • Client Relationship Support

    • Collaborate with internal account managers to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities

    • Provide input into client growth strategies, without leading or managing key accounts

  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Represent See.Sense at events, conferences, buyer meetings, and webinars

    • Deliver compelling presentations and demos tailored to client needs

  • Internal Collaboration and CRM

    • Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress in our CRM

    • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Data teams to shape client solutions


Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in mobility, smart cities, data solutions, or similar sectors
  • Proven experience in identifying and closing new business opportunities
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to craft and close value-led proposals
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation
  • Self-starter with drive, resilience, and high personal accountability
  • Comfortable working autonomously and in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Passion for innovation, sustainability, and shaping the future of transport
  • Experience working with public sector clients (e.g. councils, transport authorities) is a plus
