Seeing the back of 2020 was likely a relief for many of us. So how are your 2021 resolutions going (if you made any)? Are you still cycling as much as you were in the lockdown summer of 2020? Or maybe you just want to start to increase your cycling journeys or miles this New Year? Whether it's to improve your health & fitness, keep up your cycling from lockdown or purely for fun or freedom - riding your bike is one of the best decisions you will ever make.
If you are simply looking for some motivation to get out on your bike more this New Year, then you are in the right place. Here are 6 reasons to keep cycling in 2021...

CYCLING FOR FREEDOM IN 2021
It’s now more important than ever to keep ourselves fit both mentally and physically, and we truly believe that the bike is the answer. Why do you think so many people get super passionate about cycling? For many, (including us), it’s definitely that feeling of freedom and getting away from it all.
TRY CYCLING FOR ESSENTIAL JOURNEYS
Many of us might not be cycling to work at the moment (unless you are a key worker), but if you need a pint of milk - why not take that journey by bike?
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS & STAY MOTIVATED
You might be out cycling on your own for now, but when you are using the See.Sense app along with our lights, you’ll be a part of our community.
With See.Sense Ride Stats, you’ll be able to track your cycling stats in the app - community members will access their mileage, calories burned, CO2 saved from biking and more unique facts and stats. You'll also get a monthly personalised review email. You can learn more and get started with the See.Sense App here.
REWARD YOURSELF
This is one of our favourite ones. Make sure you reward yourself for riding, it has been a tough year (and a bit) for us all and don't be hard on yourself if you skip a ride. Cycling burns a lot of calories, and for most of us, that means we can indulge slightly more.
THE ROADS ARE STILL SLIGHTLY QUIETER
If you haven’t been out on the bike in a while - now is actually a really good time to build your confidence with the roads being that bit quieter than 'normal'.
FRESH AIR
Although 2021 hasn't had the best start, it’s still good to get out and get some fresh air. Get some light that doesn't come from a bulb or a computer screen for a bit, and the bike is brilliant for that.
