Making Cycling Better

Press Release: Kobla signs agreement with See.Sense to become reseller of their Smart Bike Sensors and Insight Solutions in the Norwegian market

The increasing number of electric bikes and e-scooters is good for the environment, but it has also led to a rise in collisions. To reduce the number of collisions, better data is needed to understand where and how collisions occur.

Kobla is therefore proud to announce a partnership with UK-based See.Sense, becoming the reseller of their data collection and insight solutions in the Norwegian market. These solutions map where and how people cycle, and with its unique technology, See.Sense is the market leader in this type of surveys.

"To reduce the number of accidents, we don’t need more regulations, but better data and insights so that cost-effective and targeted measures can be implemented to improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians. Kobla wants to help more people choose active transportation in their daily lives, and increased safety for pedestrians and cyclists is essential to achieving this." - Ole Liabø, Managing Director of Kobla AS.

"We look forward to helping Norwegian cities and municipalities improve safety for cyclists, both in Summer and Wintertime." - Irene McAleese, Co-founder & Chief Commercial Officer at See.Sense (Limeforge Ltd.).
